Managing Attorney

Meet Amy Hou, the Managing Attorney at Harmony Law Group. Amy leads a dynamic transactional practice representing a wide range of clients, including institutional lenders, developers, U.S. and international investors, private equity groups, and small business owners. Her clients include publicly traded companies in both China and the United States. 

With deep experience in commercial and residential real estate, business structuring, and financing, Amy advises on complex transactions involving acquisitions, developments, refinancings, and joint ventures.

Her representative work spans a range of high-value and complex transactions including a $10 million land acquisition for a technology company, a $7.6 million sale of a multi-tenant office complex, a $3.8 million disposition of a medical office portfolio, a $6.5 million refinancing and loan restructuring of a multifamily apartment community, buyer’s counsel to an international food manufacturer in its $5 million real estate acquisition, outside general counsel to a NASDAQ-listed company, and guidance to clients through the acquisition and financing of numerous shopping centers across Georgia, as well as the negotiation of large-scale industrial leases spanning several hundred thousand square feet for manufacturing and distribution clients.

Amy is a Board Member of the Chinese Business Association of Atlanta (CBAA) and is actively involved in community outreach and education initiatives within Atlanta’s asian business community. She resides in Dunwoody, Georgia, with her husband and two daughters.
